Liberty Brass Turning Co., Inc. is pleased to announce that our new line of solid brass square checkrings is in stock. These may be used to top off square tubing, effect a transition from square tubes to round or just to finish off a square end. Our square checkrings have solid thick walls that differentiate themselves from the only square checkrings previously available that had been stamped from thin gauge steel. They are supplied in a polished but unlacquered finish and will enable designers to take advantage of both the modern and traditional aspects of square geometries.
Currently, we can provide from 1/2" through 1-and-a-1/2" sizes by 1/4" increments in both slip 1/8 pipe through and 1/4 pipe through configurations. These parts are cold formed with check size tolerances that are .012" to .020" larger than the nominal size of the item. They are 1/8" long and the outside diameters are 1/8" larger than the nominal tube size making them quite substantial. The depth of the square hole is 1/16" +/- 1/64".
